Hello, and welcome to my homepage. I hope your visit is entertaining and enjoyable. Be sure to drop a few words and let me know what you think of the site!
My name is Jesse Haines and I am a student
at Butler University where I am a pharmacy
major. I'm currently in my sophomore year. My hobbies include martial
arts, creative writing, music, film making, cooking, and academics.
Unusual? A bit. This site is dedicated to those who don't exactly
pass of as normal people, but those who are able to think about the world around
them, appreciate it, and still do cool things in their spare time.
I graduated from Borden High School in 2002. Though a small school (roughly 36 in my graduating class), I enjoyed my time there and felt that I was encouraged to do my best. A broad range of activities weren't available, but we enjoyed the personal relationships with our colleagues and faculty. My younger brothers, Levi and Elijah, are still attending Borden Jr./Sr. High School.
I've spent most of my summers in Grand Marais, Michigan, a small town in the Upper Peninsula, right next to Lake Superior. I've worked in West Bay Diner for five summers now. You'll not find food any better in the whole UP, probably the LP too. Grand Marais is surrounded by wilderness, forest, water, and dunes.
This is intended to be a classic "My Homepage!" website; the draws for those of you who don't know me will probably be in the Literature, Links, or HVP pages.
