2006 Latvia Field Seminar
DAYS 12-14
On day 12 we visited the art museum, and in the afternoon most of us took a tram ride to a lakeside forest park in Riga, which gave us a chance not just to enjoy the beautiful weather, but to see parts of Riga we hadn't visited. On the way back we stopped at the Hotel Latvia and took the elevator up to one of the upper floors to enjoy the panoramic view of the city.
On Sunday afternoon (day 13) most of us took a trip to the seaside town of Jurmala.
Day 14 was our last day of organized activities before we return to the United States. In the morning we met with a member of parliament who also has a program on Latvia's Christian radio station.
