Learn a Language -
It isn't as hard as you think!
Why learn a language? The first time you find yourself frustrated, unable to communicate with someone, you will have at least one good reason motivating you to learn. But there are others...
Learning a language is not as hard as you think. I assume by the fact that you are reading this that you speak at least one language already! You may have been put off learning another one by a bad experience you had trying to learn a language in school, where it was a question of memorizing grammar, endings, etc.
But there are lots of courses nowadays that take a different approach, that let you learn a language through speaking and use, the way you learned your native one.
Last of all, another good reason to learn a language is that you can do it in the car during your daily commute or while stuck in traffic. There is no need for that time to be wasted time - instead, it can be time in which you learn a new language. The Pimsleur language courses are particularly good for this, since they are designed to be used without a book. Get one and try it! I doubt you'll be disappointed.
Local libraries also have many useful resources you can use (including 'listen in the car' courses). There are also many useful learning aids on the internet.
Learn languages - it is a hobby that has real practical value!
